When did you take away the bottle and the pacifier?

I think 1 year is too early to wean a child off the bottle. I mean most feed babies are not encouraged to do so until they do it on their own and I do think it should be the case for a bottle fed baby too. At 1 year old they are still babies! just putting the thought out there.....Anyways my daughter weaned herself from the bottle and paci by herself shortly after she turned one (LOL probably due that I was totally fine with it, she is very stubborn) it was like one day she woke up and decided she wanted only sippy cups and no bottles, so I really don't have any advice but don't rush it, I think it's fine if a baby/toddler wants to take a bottle until they are much older.
