Is Nowitzki going to play center this year?

The Mavericks have added Marion (who can play PF), Gooden (a PF) and Tim Thomas (a PF). My father says that Dirk can play there because he would be a matchup nightmare because of his shooting ability and his other skills. But center also tends to be a physical position, something Dirk hasn't exactly been known for. However, the Lakers won with Pau Gasol getting the majority of minutes at center (since Bynum was ineffective), so it can be done.
