Hey everyone. I helped open a sub shop starting april of 2009 for a friend of mine and drove over 50 miles a day commuting. Well, We moved the sub shop up nearer to us, and i set up the sub shop and did all of the work to set it up. In December of 2009, Me and the owners fiance/girlfriend came to a business agreement that I could not come to agree on, so I left after the fiance said some hateful words, and I left. Well, I was the lifeline of that business, and knew 90% of the things they didnt, so I went on an interview at a bank, and did not get the job because of the past reference. Let me clarify this one thing; I was not paid one paycheck and did all of the paperwork and basically started the business, while i was promised that I was partner, I come to find out that that was false. My friend (an attorney) said if they slandered your name because you left and left them clueless, that is Defamation of Character, and I can sue. Is that True? Im not the type to sue (never did, never will) but they are trashing my name. Im going to find out what accusation were said, and will have to get those doents. Please Help!

I noticed while brushing my chihuahuas teeth that they didn't looked like they had some tarter build up. Thats a huge area to cover in that time frame in honesty,and could be very costly around Lybia especialy.Im not sure where ur from so i cant say about airfares,if ur from the Uk try get a flight to Marrakesh which might cost u �300 return(less if ur lucky) and do a trip from there south towards Dahkla in Western Sahara,which is quite far but doable,and return to Marrakesh going a diffirent route back through the Atlas mountains(go south along the coast.I done this with a friend as far as layoune but we got lazy and hung around to long there.We done that over 7 weeks.Or trying going to some of the smaller countries in eastern europe.Or go to istanbul in turkey and explore some of the countryside there too.My advice would be dont think of covering big areas it will cost u more and it can get to feel like ur always on the move with no time to chill out.Enjoy

Why does he act so strangely?

There's this guy at school who will spend weeks not talking to me, than he will come up to me one day and chat my head off. He isn't an extremely social person, in fact, he's somewhat shy. The only times I've ever actually seen him smile is when we were discussing wars or talking about various Mel Brooks/ Monty python movies (etc. Etc.) I also caught him looking at me from across the English room once. Whenever we happen to be walking near eachother in the hall he Either speeds up really quickly, gets uncomfortable, or starts talking about random things. Getting A Sore Throat Constantly?

Ok it started when i was dating this girl. i kissed her and she gave me a sore throat. but then it turned into a tonsticular abscest. i got anitboitics from the Dr. and it didnt work, after a week of taking the antibiotics the Dr. sent me to the hostpital because i could barely open my mouth, my ear hurt. ( lymphnodes) when i got to the hospital they gave me antibiotics through a IV and i was better the next day and the absecst was gone. so then like 2 or 3 weeks later. i get it again. and the Dr. gave me the antbiotics used in the hospital (40 pills) and they worked but now im not dating that girl anymore and i havent kissed anyone, and ive had a sore throat for 3 days and its steadily getting worse. now its to the piont where i can barley talk. (also when i was in the hospital the surgeon said if it happens again hes gonna take my tonsels out. and it did but i didnt get admited to the hospital) but wat do i do? should i go back to the hospital and get ny tonselse out or?

Deployed & Pregnant, suggestions please?

I am currently deployed to Kuwait and just found out that I'm around 8 wks pregnant. My husband is deploying tomorrow to a different theater for his unit. I got pregnant before coming out here, apparently. But I'm totally freaking out due to the fact that I was a late deploy-er for a pregnancy that miscarried very shortly after finding out about it. (about 3 wks gestation). I'm terrified to present this to my chain of command in fear of being punished or chaptered out. This was not intentional, and totally a surprise to both my husband & I. I came here with the intention to deploy with my unit, serve my country and get home at the end of it, to my family, just like everyone else. Although, we are wanting more children, this in the beginning of a deployment, was not our idea of "perfect timing". Can anyone help me out with this? Well, first of all, I think you should to is inform your neighbors of the party, so that they know what's going on, so the "cops won't bust in." lol But obviously wait until a cpl weeks before the party! But I've planned a few big parties before, and the thing to make it absolutely beautiful, is to pick a theme! Whether it's a color, or something you really like, that describes you, and decorate accordingly. There's usually warehouses nearby where you can rent tables and chairs, if you're planning to have food, and you can even rent fabric from the same types of places, for decor and table cloths and such. You may even be able to get a small stage or something for the DJ, if they don't have their own. Obviously your dress plays a huge roll, but you don't have to spend oodles of money to get a beautiful dress. You've got almost a year to plan, but your parents should be helping you plan too. All those things sound great, but would not likely come as a result of a national sales tax. The biggest one, according to some articles I've read, is that the Fair Tax may abolish the IRS, but it would have to be replaced with another bureaucracy dedicated to setting and processing the new tax. Also, a Fair Tax may sound "fair" but it is not progressive. Lastly, to replace current tax receipts, the sales tax would have to be something like 40 percent (at least to some estimates I;ve seen), much higher than the proposed 20 percent or so. It is just not as simple to implement it as its supporters claim. This is not to say that changes in tax policy are not worth debating, just that the "Fair Tax" seems more marketing gimmick than likely fix.

Trying to interpret a nightmare that i had last night?

i'm not sure which section this belongs in. but i am really shaken by a nightmare that i had last night, and i am not sure what to make of it so i thought i would ask on here and see what people think. in my nightmare i dreamed that i was walking in my dining room and out of the corner of my eye i noticed a black snake crawling up in to my bathroom from behind the toilet from a small crack and into my apartment, i stood there scared and frozen and watched it as it slivered it's way out of my bathroom and around the corner in to my kitchen, when it got in to the kitchen it stopped in front of the sink in the floor, and still squirming around it started to rattle, i knew then that it was very dangerous and poisonous. i was so scared that the hair on my arms was standing up and i was crying and shaking. it was the middle of the night and i was here alone with my 2 very small little boys and all i could think of was if i hadn't seen it i would never have known that something like that could get in to my house so easily, and i needed to get to my babies and protect them and keep them safe, but although i was thinking that, i just stood there and watched it as if i were hypnotized by it..then i thought why am i just standing here i should at least get my phone and call someone for some help to get it out of here, and then i thought well, why call anyone it's not like anyone is going to come out this late to help me..and i felt like i was just stuck and helpless, i couldn't or wouldn't move to keep my kids safe, i felt i couldn't do anything about it myself, and i felt that i couldn't ask anyone else to help me get it out. i was very helpless..what do you think this all could mean. should i take it literally? i usually don't believe in stuff like this, but it was so real. and it has freaked me out. i want to make sure that my little boys are safe.

Has anyone noticed this while watching "Judge Judy"?

When you look in the audience, a few people are falling asleep? How can anyone even start to fall asleep when Judge Judy is yelling and screaming at the top of her lungs? Don't get me wrong, I like her and respect her because she is really a smart cookie and knows what she is talking about (even at high volume levels), so I am really asking how can the audience be so sleepy in that court room? We have this teacher in our school everyone hates. We had this sub and she was very nice, but apparently something else happened. The other homeroom cl made her walk off the job this morning, she left and never came back. So, we had the teacher everyone hates. We got to Math (the subject she was teaching) and we had no idea wtf she was blabbing about. She said that WE were disrespectful and who do we think we are. She critizied us, and we didn't even do anything to the sub! We were the good cl! We never said anything to the sub. But that b!ch we had today said we were the ones who made her leave. long story short i hit a table with the bottom of my hand / and wrist and broke it. after i couldn't move it without felling pain. now i can move it a little but if i move it the wrong way i'm iin sever pain. & i'm getting a shooting pain up my arm from time to time. are these signs of a sprained wrist? sorry for the typos i;m writing with one hand.

When did you take away the bottle and the pacifier?

I think 1 year is too early to wean a child off the bottle. I mean most feed babies are not encouraged to do so until they do it on their own and I do think it should be the case for a bottle fed baby too. At 1 year old they are still babies! just putting the thought out there.....Anyways my daughter weaned herself from the bottle and paci by herself shortly after she turned one (LOL probably due that I was totally fine with it, she is very stubborn) it was like one day she woke up and decided she wanted only sippy cups and no bottles, so I really don't have any advice but don't rush it, I think it's fine if a baby/toddler wants to take a bottle until they are much older.

Help! i have no idea why but ive recently had problems with puking?

ok so i rarely puke i usually have to get a serious case of the flu. and ive never had eating disorders theres 0 chance of being pregnant and i have hardly any gag reflex so its not any of that. but for some reason last week i was out having a cigarette [and yes i know its bad for me but ive been a chainsmoker for a couple years now and didnt even puke with m first one] and before i went inside i started to feel kinda woozy and all of a sudden i projectile puked. after i was done getting rid of the pepsi and stomach acid i felt a bit weak but 5 min later i was back to normal. no fever or other signs of sickness either. then this morning it happened again when i finished getting ready and i didnt even smoke this time. once again i was fine before i puked and fine afterwards. ive never had any problems like this before and have no idea what the cause would be since im not actually sick. an ideas people?

I make my own handmade cards, and i'm starting with my christmas lot. I found the perfect 3D embellishment for the MIL's card. It's a cat with a christmas hat and comes with a few extras like a small tree, set of presents and a stocking. So my thought was to make a fireplace scene, have the cat sitting by the fire with the tree and presents to add the christmasiness to it. Is this normal behaviour for an 8 month old kitten?

I have just adopted him - we do not know much about his past except that he was on the streets for at least a few weeks before he was rescued. He is a confident, easy going little guy who purred and snuggled into me the first time I picked him up. I have had him 5 days and he just loves affection and is very friendly. However 4 times now he has, for no apparent reason, entered a room where I was with wide eyes and tail lashing, launched himself at my arm or leg, clung on and started biting me. He digs his claws in slightly but does not do that or the biting hard enough to hurt much - it does hurt a bit and leave small marks. I am not sure if he is playing? He does not hiss or arch. Before he came in and did this he has not been upset. I have, on each occasion, detached him saying 'no!' and walked away to show that this is not a way to get my attention. Power Supply Upgrade Help!?

Something tells me this is more of a revenge issue... does it really bother you that he's doing it? If you had done it, how would you expect him to feel? How would you feel? What if you had both done it, and then found out each other had done it? You'd laugh it off, right? I think you just subconsciously want the relationship completely even, which is a selfish idea. A better idea is to talk with him about his urges, which are almost impossible not to act on as a man, and compromise. Really try to stimulate him without defiling yourself. You need to plan with him and set some boundaries together, BOTH participate in the relationship. If he's still pulling this stuff after all that, well, pull the plug. There are decent guys out there, the patience is worth it.

Have you tried texturizing hair wax? It works a treat. It will hold better if you dont have perfect, newly washed hair as the style will fall out quickly. If you wet your hair, then use a hairdryer and tip your head upside down and blow dry from the roots. Dont brush. Put texturising wax over your newly made curls and voila! Perfect

Does my corgi have cancer?

My 7 year old corgimix has had some random enlarged lumps on his underbelly and sometimes they go away and then come back or one will disappear and then reappear somewhere else. They are pretty hard lumps. I tapped it and my dog showed no sign of pain whatsoever. I rubbed his tummy and he showed no signs of discomfort. We took him to the vet and they said that they were just fat deposits and not cancer. However since they started appearing (about a year ago) my dog has showed some stiffness in his back hind legs and he seems to get tired faster. I have terminal pancreatic cancer and have set myself a goal of catching 101 different types of fish before I die. To date I have travelled to New Zealand, the Great Barrier Reef and the Hawkesbury River notching up 29 different species (all catch and release). I am now heading for the Gulf of Carpentaria at the end of April and Canada to catch salmon in July. If I succeed in reaching the 101 species, I'll just add more to the list and keep fishing. The challenge is keeping me going and I have already defied medical predictions of my life expectancy.

Taking pictures of water droplets....?

Okay, i'm an amateur photographer. I have just recently acquired a Nikon D3000. I was stoked and couldn't wait to start taking pictures. I saw one type of picture that was really neat and i wanted to try it. So i did some research and got the stuff i needed to make the picture work. I set the aperture and the shutter speed (like it says to) and i put it on M (manual). I only have one problem. My pictures are coming out dark. So dark that you can't even make out what the picture is. I tried putting a light bulb as close as i can without getting it wet and it still doesn't work. Please Help

Wiring up a 200 amp solenoid help?

I've bought a 200 amp continuous solenoid so I can hook up my kc lights to one switch and I've been trying to figure out how to wire it all up. It's a four post solenoid. I kinda figured that the two big post was for one connection going from the battery source on the + side and the other side running to the fuse box where I have the kc lights wired up to. Then I thought I could run a + line from the battery to the switch then to one of the small posts on the solenoid... no luck on the lights running with that set up. I was wondering where am I going wrong at? Do I have to ground the body of the solenoid to the chis or use the other small post as a ground? Any help will be great... Thanks ya'all.

My friend met a guy tru online dating. He ered her up and told her they were soul mates and he was going to move in with her and she was the one for him, blah blah. Well, when she had with him (only after the first date), he sent her an email saying he had to move out of town and he was sorry and it was over. We knew he lied to get what he wanted. Soo, we set up a fake beautiful girl and put her on the website. He took the bait in 12 hours, contacting her and saying exactly the same things he said to my friend. We are milking it and he really believes this girl is realy. He asked her to chat on MSN so we are going to do it and tell him all kinds of soul mate stuff...set up a date and then of course no one will show up. When he emails back to ask why....BINGO! my friend will reveal it's her the whole time and he hurt her and he got his payback for using her that way and telling her lies. My great aunt and her husband durring the 1940's went to kuwait and Iraq, because he worked for an oil company, they brought back some prayer rugs and some large br serving trays for feasts (one is about 4 feet across) they brought back some swords too, one in particular is unique, is is about a 1.5 feet long it is made of steel with a curved blade, it has a steel sheath as well, when you pull it out of the sheath the blade springs out into 3 seperate blades, it has been hand etched over the entirety of the sword/sheath with pictures of muslim men in turbans (some have what looks like crowns on their heads) kneeling and it looks like they are praying with their arms crossed, the artwork looks similar to the style that Europe used durring the dark ages. the sword is in good shape just some surface discoloration, has anyone ever seen/know of something like this? Any idea as to the age of this, there are no antique specialist in my home town Yakima Wa. thanks in advance.

Is it safe to burn wood in a woodburning fireplace that has a capped natural gas line?

We just moved into a brand new home with a fireplace. The fireplace has a capped natural gas line that sticks out about 3 inches into the fireplace. It also has a shut off/on valve with a key on the outside of the fireplace. The fireplace also has an instruction booklet that states that it is a wood burning or a gas log fireplace. Is it safe to burn wood in the fireplace with the capped gas line? Also, I know this is probably a stupid question, but is there a standard direction in which the valve has to be turned to make sure that it is off? Thanks in advance for all your help!!

What should I include in my family tree?

I made a project for a competition abut old photos with family members and some events related to them. I came out with ten short stories about my relatives from my mother's side, and now I have to build a family tree and I am really confused on what should I include. It doesn't have to be complete or anything, I want it to show rather what connections there are between the persons in the stories. Should I include siblings of my grandmother, for example, if they carry no real importance for the people in the stories?

It is for the shock value of the piece. Like the first answerer that stated something about the war, that is close to the truth, but in this aspect they want to give the viewer sympathy for the undemocratic trauma these people are suffering for the right to a just voting count. It is to show that the current leaders of that country are being underhanded and bullying the system of which it governs. Would you take the news of such a blatant display of a dictatorship under the guise or ruse of "A diplomatic society" if it was just people carrying signs and chanting? Of course not. To see people being beaten, maimed or even killed grabs our attention to the current situation. Also, the government allows such displays to give it a reason that their war is just, when in fact it is not. Americans are shown, rarely, in violent cases. You can see it almost daily on your nightly local news channel. The law states that no ones condition or death can be displayed until the immediate family are notified and then must allow a release of any pictures to the effect of that family member. That is our laws for our people. Other peoples countries do not have that law and it is allowed to be shown. Look at a Mexican or Columbian newspaper. They will actually display any body or body part that has been discovered dead or mutillated or both to sell a paper. Sometimes that is the only way some families even know what happened to their beloved family member or even friends. Sad, but it is true. So, don't ever take the media as the truth to the matter at hand. Sensationalism sells air time, air time ads make money, ads and reports get more watchers watching the ads, which in turn gives good ratings and purchase reports from the advertisers that advertise during their programs. When the advertised company makes money so does the news company or broadcasters. Drama and mayhem sells and that is how they get away with it.

Totally disagree. The Jazz need to bring back Boozer. Kirilenko's expiring contract is very attractive to teams looking to clear salary cap room for next season's free agency market. Anybody you get back in a trade for Kirilenko would just be a bonus. The main objective would be to get his contract off the books (similar to the Harpring situation this past season). uming the Jazz end up with the ninth pick, a number of good center prospects will be available (Aldrich, Whiteside, Udoh). I'd definitely take Monroe if he was still available, but most mock drafts have him being selected before the Jazz pick. The only thing this team is really missing is a defensive minded, shot blocking center with length, and any number of guys in the draft could supply that. I'll put it this way. If my fat A** is on a diet and I only buy health food and tell my friends and family to not bring unhealthy food by me , it will be relativly easy to not eat junk food. But if I have the choice between healthy and unhealthy then I am really using my mind and will power. They are trying to shelter there children , but the fact is THERE god gave them free will and the ability to make choices, they are just scared of what there children might choose. But once again it is there children.
