Bully out of control, threatening my livelihood.?

I was bullied and when I erted my right not to be bullied I was mobbed out of a job. Since being fired, I've learned the bully has said she is filing a restraining order on me. This has gotten totally out of conntrol. I was fired for a nasty rumor with no proof any of it was true, now I hear I'm being slandered even more and this talk of restraining orders has me really upset. Do I have any legal recourse against this person for trying to ruin my life?
