How would games run on a $8000 mac with bootcamp compared to a $2000 pc?

You would be extremely happy with either. I would go with the PC though, Mac's are way over priced and don't have nearly as much software available. I would however get an extended warranty. Go for the 5 year. I would also suggest pro-support (Onsite, that is if it is not too expensive)
