Advice needed, please?

I like the sound of that story. I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with doing your own twist. Nobody knows what an angel would really be like, so who's to say they can't be however you're going to depict them. I'd definitely read that book if you got it published. Remember, confidence is important, and it will show through when you try to get your work out to others.
