In the battle of the dems and the pubs?

aren't there most likely a lot of republicans out there that aren't very vocal about who they are going to vote for? this, while we could be pretty sure that ALL libs are very vocal because they are just made that way. so would it be safe to say that there are a lot of republicans that don't take surveys or believe in polls who just simply vote and are done with it? after the last election this seems to be the case. the left was so sure kerry would win then all of a sudden, bam! i just see the seniors of america out there who don't want to leave the country to somebody who says that they've all been wrong all their lives and now we are going to tear the country down and start over. these people aren't easily fooled and probably just don't feel like taking a poll over the phone or otherwise from some slanted group. and i sincerely don't believe they like people talking smack about mccain's age.
